Health Care: Orange County Offers Free Cancer Screenings, Flu Shots & Medication Assistance at Community Health Fair

Orange County is providing patients with access to vital medical care and health screening services at a free community health fair.
 
On Sunday, October 27, Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do – in conjunction with the non-profit Vietnamese Physicians Association of Southern California – will provide free cancer screenings, flu shots, vision exams, medication assistance, prescription glasses for kids, and other health services.
 

Orange County Approves $7.7 million for Mental Health Services

Orange County is improving mental health services and expanding training for how law enforcement should handle psychiatric emergencies.
 
“Patients are facing barriers when they try to access mental health services,” said Supervisor Andrew Do, who has made improving the county’s mental health care one of his top priorities on the Board of Supervisors.
