Supervisor Andrew Do Sworn Into Office

On Tuesday, January 10th, The Orange County Board of Supervisorswelcomed back First District Supervisor Andrew Do at his swearing in ceremony. 

The Ceremony was held at the Hall of Administration in Santa Ana directly before the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting. The Oath of Office was administered to Supervisor Do by his wife, Superior Court Judge Cheri Pham. Members of the public and the media were invited to attend the swearing in ceremony and reception that followed. 

Supervisor Andrew Do: Rising Mental Health Hospitalizations, Declining Prenatal Care Demand County Solutions

Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do is calling for the county to take action to address rising mental health hospitalization rates and declining prenatal care, based on new findings published in the 2016 Report on the Conditions of Children in Orange County. 

The 22nd annual report, which was released Tuesday, offers a comprehensive assessment of the health, education, and safety of the county’s 840,000 children. 

Homelessness: Orange County Taps $1.2 Million in State Emergency Aid for Shelters, Rapid Re-Housing

When it comes to tackling homelessness, Orange County isn't resting on its laurels. 

One week after delivering on Supervisor Andrew Do's promise to open a new homeless shelter within 30 days, the Orange County Board of Supervisors has tapped $1.2 million in state emergency grant funding for homeless shelters and rapid re-housing programs.

Orange County is taking action on homelessness.

Just one week after adopting Supervisor Andrew Do’s plan to transform a Santa Ana bus terminal into a transitional homeless shelter, the Orange County Board of Supervisors has approved $8 million to provide housing for people who currently living on the streets or at risk of becoming homeless.

OC Supervisor Andrew Do Hosting Orange County Crime Stopper Event

In an effort to keep Orange County’s neighborhoods safe, Supervisor Andrew Do is hosting a free Orange County Crime Stopper event to educate the public on steps we can take to fight crime.

The free event, held on September 29, will highlight ways that residents can protect ourselves, our families and our homes from petty thieves to violent predators.
